l tuning in berkshire,

Oh dear god, IT'S ALIVE!!!!!

Well, I kept it under wraps but have just got back from CC Engine Services in Reading. (Rolling Road Tune!)

Went today to have their new ReMap done to the Trophy!

These chaps know there stuff!! Got there this morning after getting a tad lost, and they promptly had me on the rollers for the pre-remap details.

They've recently upgraded all of their software, so the results you get now from the rollers are REALLY detailed!!

Anyways, after connecting up their hardware and downloading everything they needed, they promptly had the new & improved version on the laptop and put straight back onto my ECU ready for the after-remap results.

A quick blast on the rollers showed some pretty good results! A 6.9 BHP increase, an increase in Torque of 5lb and a very usable extra 500 revs in the rev range.... BUT, that wasn't the really impressive bit!

I took the car out for a spin round Reading and that's where the true improvement became apparant!!

Oh my god, does it shift!

They've successfully managed to completely flatten out all flat spots and eliminate the dull spot that you usually get just before the VVC kicks in!

There is a definite pull right throughout the rev range! I found myself gunning through the gears with a manic grin on my face! Whereas, usually I would floor it to get it up to VVC time, around 4500 revs, as quickly as possible, I now don't need to!

Mike did say at the beginning that it was in the driveability that I would really be impressed and he wasn't lying!!

Between 2000 to 4000 revs just pulls like never before!

And then the VVC kicks in, and even that feels more responsive!!

Needless to say, I had one hell of a fun drive home!

The remap I had today was the Response Performance one. £500 of your hard earned but well worth it in my opinion!

Fully customisable, for if you change anything in the future and no need for any extra boxes or piggy back ecu's. It is only available for MEMS3 but they are also Emerald dealers for anyone with MEMS1.9 or 2.

I can't praise these guys enough and this is definitely a mod I'd recommend!

I'll get the graphs posted up shortly. (After I've gone out for another blast.)
