CC Engine services are now able to offer a new service for Mercedes Benz owners.

The classic Mercedes 220,250 and 280 have an excellent straight six engine that we are now able to offer a full reconditioning service for.

Our engines look as good as the original and can be supplied either as a short engine, short engine with cylinder head or for the best look, complete to fit with overhauled fuel injection pump and manifolds.

We specialise in returning your original engine back to its former glory, this keeps your classic original with its original engine number.

This is not a cheap reconditioned engine it is a top quality product using the best components, Mahle pistons and mostly genuine parts from Mercedes.

A fully restored engine includes

o Original crank reground to factory tolerance

o New oil pump

o Connecting rods resized to factory specifications

o Cylinder block chemically cleaned

o New timing gears, chain, guides and tensioner as required

o New Mahle pistons to suit your bore

o Compression ratio checked and returned to 9:1(factory spec)

o Cylinder head pressure tested and acid cleaned

o Cylinder head overhauled including valves, guides, springs, etc

o Camshaft reground

o Injectors checked and cleaned

o New Bosch spark plugs

o Distributor checked and cleaned or overhauled

o New cam pedestals as required

o All parts bead blasted and painted

o All brackets and pipes can be blasted and plated in yellow zinc

Finish off that perfect restoration with a great looking and sounding engine.

We can also supply engine components from stock for your Mercedes and have excellent contacts for modern and classic engine conversions. Maybe that V8 in your SL or nitrous oxide injection to give you a few more horses under the bonnet.
